Gurupurab was celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion by La Petite children. The students were told about Sikh gurus and birth story of Guru Nanak ji. Spiritual chants and prayers spread a feeling of peace and harmony in the atmosphere. Children relished eating langar Prasad and learnt the value of selfless service, brotherhood and harmony.

Halloween has become a popular festival. This fun festival was celebrated at GD Goenka with great zest. The children were told about the concept of Halloween and the folk stories behind the festival through audio visual medium. Hindi Diwas was celebrated to make the children aware of the importance of our national language and take pride in it. The day began with Namaste as greetings, followed by Hindi diwas assembly which had Hindi rhymes, slogans and stories.
